We welcome you to partner with us!
Ready2CONNECT powered by action pact relies heavily on the support of our community to raise funds to benefit area families facing unemployment and underemployment barriers. We’re gearing up to host our 7th Annual Back-2- School Blowout! Last year hundreds of families in our area were provided various back-to-school essentials to help their children jump-start to a productive school year! We couldn’t provide this community-wide family event and fundraiser without YOUR continued support.
There are various ways you can partner with us to make the event a success! We hope you will join us to continue empowering families in our community.

Ready2CONNECT Inc. provided nearly 700 students and their families with school supplies at the recent Back2School Blowout at Effingham County High School.
The non-profit raised $6,000 to help alleviate some back-to-school expenses as part of its mission to help the unemployed and underemployed in Effingham and West Chatham counties, according to Destiny Bradshaw, founder and executive director.
It’s the sixth annual event and it grows every year. This year Heroes Overcome, dressed as superheroes, spoke to the children, encouraging them not to be overwhelmed by negative influences, bullies and bad attitudes and to stick with friends that make them better, stronger and wiser.
Bradshaw thanks the Board of Education, 30 volunteers, 48 vendors and various area sponsors for their contributions. Platinum sponsors were: Coca-Cola, Burger King, Kroger, Southern Motors Springfield and WellCare Health Plans.
From January through June, Ready2CONNECT has had 32 people complete career training, with 23 securing sustainable employment.
