What We Do
Ready2CONNECT, Inc. is a non-profit community based, career-readiness organization. At our Career and Family Empowerment Center, we aim to empower families and individuals to reach financial independence through collaborative efforts.
HELP serves as the financial component to Ready2CONNECT’s (R2C) Community Network Navigation Empowerment Career Training (CONNECT) Program.
HELP is a community supported program that provides a variety of resources and support services for CONNECT clients as they transition to economic independence.
One of the resources that a family receives is a HELP bag. These bags provide items , that many of us take for granted, for families who are struggling to make ends meet. After receiving a HELP bag, one client recently stated,
“Thank you! I was just about to spend my last five dollars on tissue. Now I can get something else that we need.”
Most of us will spend five dollars on lunch. This was her last. This small token of kindness and generosity made a difference.
